Astro Insights: Dance of the Cosmos & Soul Growth

February 2025 has come to call!

We are certainly feeling the call of the Aquarius age this month, after the new moon in Aquarius on Jan. 29th! As 2025 continues to unfold, we will see the call of new technology, the rise of eccentric tech ideas, and the call for innovation & truth. At the same time, Pisces makes an aspect in early February that asks us to dream, turn inward, and seek the messages of our dreams for connection to our true self. This ethereal vibe continues to guide us as we move towards a new moon also in Pisces on February 28th, later this month.

But before we set a new intention for this upcoming new moon in the sign of the fish, we welcome the full moon in Leo on February 14th, calling on all of us to examine concepts such as our personal sovereignty, courage, and the ability to lead a life from our heart center. The regal & majestic lion looks to shine a light on an area of your life that needs a release or spotlights a life area that illuminates a certain aspect of your journey.

The dance of the cosmos also brings us an alignment between Mars and Saturn, giving us an opportunity to hunker down, call on the stores of discipline, and work to see a dream come to fruition—the aspect is calling on us to go beyond perceived limitations. Mars is also coming into stationary direct on February 24th, after a large journey retrograde—this will give a feeling of a life area that has been frustrating and tedious, becoming slowly more clear & easier to see where the energy is flowing. Give it time! Watch that you are not being overly aggressive or reactionary around that date!

A hugely beneficial aspect is seen with Jupiter becoming stationary direct, in the mutable sign of Gemini, calling on us to change beliefs systems that are outdated, examine perspectives, examine the facts & info and see if this is in true alignment with our soul’s calling. The transit occurs on February 4th, but we will fee this sense of reorientation for many days to either side of this date.

As we wade the waters of February, I ask you to call upon this affirmation throughout the month:

“I stand in my personal sovereignty & expression my true authenticity—my choices reflect this core truth. I am a celestial being.”

Pisces Power

The latter half of February shows us the power of Pisces with 6 planets in the sign of the Fish at the new moon on February 28th! The sun, moon, Neptune, north node, Saturn, and Mercury will all in the deep waters of the celestial fish.

What we will for sure experience during this time period is a heightened sense of emotion, compassion, and sympathy. And don’t we need it as a collective during this highly transformational period! Pay close attention to any feeling of extreme overwhelm or inability to see through deception. Hold the space and energy vibration of compassion and intuition during this time period—however challenging that is likely to be!

Astrology is a holistic form of energy reading—so one suggestion I like to give to my clients is to find out what the opposing energy is to the aspect or sign under study. In this case, it is Virgo, so find a practical way to orient this fog or overwhelm by connecting to the Earth, relying on a routine, finding a practical viewpoint, until the waters pass.

From a terra forma perspective, we could also see flooding—both in rainfall or in certain geographical spaces.

Your psychic sensitivity will be operating at a all time high this month during this time period—the depth of the Piscean waters will also allow us to see even further through the veil. Keeping your dream journal and intuitive practices on the ready will be extremely enlightening.

The Pisces Power later this month shows us what this sacred and divine energy is: removing the veils and attuning our soul power to the divine consciousness that exists for all & everywhere.

As we see this energy unfold, try and see through the fog and murky waters of what this sign can also represent: toxicity, deception, living in illusions that do not serve.

It seems somehow fitting that the full moon on Feb. 12th asks us seek out our personal courage from a divine heart space, and later we are called to access that deeper, more spiritual nature of ourselves.

The movement of this energy tells the tale: let us firmly anchor ourselves in our heart space, the anchor between the lower and higher realms of consciousness, before we allow the greater depth of our divine consciousness to show us the collective way forward.
